Buckinay Bey

Buck is named RESERVE CHAMPION Half Arabian Colt in both the AUCTION and the OPEN Futurity Class at the 2008 Iowa Gold Star Futurity show in September.

We traded Buck to Lisa for Sugar, her buckskin barrel racing mare.     Sugar was really quick and kind of hot and Lisa wanted a more calm riding partner.     Even though we're not quarter horse people we made the trade thinking we could breed Sugar if we couldn't sell her.  We later sold her to a great family who is still winning all over the place with her.

Lisa started Buck under saddle in 2009.   She didn't ride him very much but it's a start!!  :o)

Lisa says Buck is really quiet and easy going.   He has never bucked with her.    We bought Buck back from Lisa the end of March 2010.   We would like to find him a nice trail riding or fun show home.   He'd be PERFECT for a kid or an amateur that needs someone to love.

Below are pics of Buck when he was little.   He was born here on the farm.  His mommy is an unregistered, perlino Quarter Horse Mare named "Powder".
